Set in the beautiful Cornish countryside yet conveniently located just off the main A389 between Bodmin and Wadebridge, Trehellas House Hotel & Restaurant at Washaway is a lovely, family run hotel. It is also a Grade II listed former Cornish courthouse dating back to the early 18th century.
The hotel is close to the Eden Project, the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Lanhydrock, Padstow, Rock, Wadebridge and numerous other beautiful towns and sites in Cornwall. We are perfectly situated for walking, cycling the famous Camel Trail, and exploring all that Cornwall has to offer.
With 12 bedrooms - four in the Old House, including
the stunning Courtroom Suite, and seven in the nearby Coach House
- the hotel is popular with couples, families and business travellers
alike. All rooms are ensuite, have tea/coffee making facilities, TVs and direct dial telephones with Internet access. Wireless broadband is available throughout the Old House.
Trehellas has a heated outdoor swimming pool (open
May to September), lovely gardens, a large patio area and ample
parking for hotel guests and diners.
Hotel Restaurant
The AA Rosette Restaurant, located in the Old
House, offers a delicious selection of superb, locally produced
food, classically and simply cooked to bring out maximum flavour.
The restaurant is open to residents and non-residents with
dinner orders
taken between 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm.
